Hoe vind ik .pst- of .ost-bestanden in Outlook?

Normaal gesproken zijn de Outlook-gegevensbestanden van .pst of .ost diep in uw computer verborgen. Niet alleen worden standaard Outlook-gegevensbestanden gegenereerd en opgeslagen in een vreemde map, gebruikers kunnen ook .pst-bestanden of .ost-bestanden openen vanuit speciale mappen in Outlook. Daarom zet het gebruikers aan tot puzzelen om die .pst-bestanden of .ost-bestanden in korte tijd gemakkelijk te vinden. De gemakkelijkste truc om .pst-bestanden of .ost-bestanden te vinden, is door met de rechtermuisknop te klikken in het navigatiedeelvenster.

Stap 1: ga naar de e-mailweergave door op te klikken E-mailadres in het navigatiedeelvenster.

Stap 2: Klik met de rechtermuisknop op de hoofdmap van een e-mailaccount en klik vervolgens op het Open Bestandslocatie in het rechtsklikmenu.

Klik in Outlook 2007 op het Open Outlook-gegevensbestand in het rechtsklikmenu.

Vervolgens wordt de map met het .pst- of .ost-bestand van het opgegeven e-mailaccount in één keer geopend.

Deze truc helpt je om de .pst-bestanden of .ost-bestanden van e-mailaccounts te vinden vanuit het accountinstellingencentrum.

Stap 1: Open het dialoogvenster Accountinstellingen:

  • Klik in Outlook 2010 en 2013 op het Dien in > Info > accountinstellingen > accountinstellingen.
  • Klik in Outlook 2007 op het Tools > accountinstellingen.

Stap 2: Selecteer en markeer in het dialoogvenster Accountinstellingen de naam van het gegevensbestand op het Gegevensbestanden Tab.

Stap 3: klik op de Open de bestandslocatie knop (of Map openen knop in Outlook 2007).

Vervolgens wordt de map geopend die het opgegeven Outlook-gegevensbestand bevat, waarbij het PST-bestand of OST-bestand in de map wordt gemarkeerd.

No. Same explanation found in 100 searched other places. Useless or redundant information for 90% of people that are searching something on this thread. This is an amateur, approach on the issue. I need a professional answer. If I have a functional Outlook , why should I bother to find some ost, pst, or whatever Outlook gore? The Outlook doesn't work. Inaccessible in normal way. Cannot run . On dead hard drive. I need to find that ost. I don't even know what version of Office is installed.This is the scenario. Don't you come with :"please click the File > Info > Account Settin..." crap. There is no such reality. Be professional, dammit! Give me an answer for that!

Export mailbox as a PST file
Login to Outlook with the Exchange account that was used to create the OST files. And to export the OST mailboxes to PST, follow the simple procedure:

Go to Files >Open & Export and click Import & Export.
Select Export to a file; then click Next.
Select the second option—Outlook Data File (.pst)—and click Next.
Select the folder which you want to export and click Next.
Browse the location where you want to save the new PST file and choose the options regarding the duplicate items.
